Anil Ravipudi Locks Script for Venkatesh-Fahadh Faasil Starrer; Targeting Sankranthi 2027 Release

Director Anil Ravipudi, currently basking in the massive success of his recent blockbuster Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, has reportedly finalized the script for his next high-profile project. In what is being hailed as a major casting coup, the filmmaker is set to bring together veteran star Venkatesh Daggubati and versatile actor Fahadh Faasil for a full-fledged commercial entertainer.

This project marks the fourth collaboration between Anil Ravipudi and Venkatesh, following their successful streak with F2: Fun and Frustration, F3: Fun and Frustration, and the 2025 hit Sankranthiki Vasthunam.The addition of Fahadh Faasil has significantly elevated industry expectations.Known for his intense performances, Fahadh is reportedly set to play a substantial comical character, showcasing a side of him rarely seen in Telugu cinema.

Insiders describe the film as a mass comedy and a light-hearted family entertainer.The narrative is rumored to center on the dynamic relationship between two families, specifically focusing on the Bava–Maridi (brother-in-law) bond between the characters played by Venkatesh and Fahadh Faasil. While some speculation suggests the film might draw inspiration from the Bro Daddy concept, the team is reportedly working on a fresh, high-energy script tailored for the Telugu audience.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the upcoming film will star Venkatesh Daggubati and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. While official announcements are awaited, Keerthy Suresh and Pooja Hegde are currently the frontrunners for the female lead roles, with reports suggesting that Bheems Ceciroleo will compose the score following his work on Sankranthiki Vasthunam. The production is expected to officially commence filming in June 2026.
