Ram Setu movie questions the identity of the existence of Lord Rama and got into controversy. This Akshay Kumar starrer has come up with an exciting trailer, let's see how the movie is.
STORY:
Pushpak constructions commence a shipping unit in between India and Sri Lanka. They file a petition to the Supreme court for destroying Ram Setu which is a hurdle for the construction operations. Due to public protest, the Supreme court orders to prove that Ram Setu is a Man-made bridge and not Naturally-formed construction. After a series of events, Aryan (Akshay Kumar) will be headed on a mission to find out the truth behind the Ram Setu. Did he prove the existence of Ram or not, forms the rest of the story.
ARTIST'S PERFORMANCES:
Akshay Kumar is superb and believable as an Archaeologist. His performance is the highlight of the film, especially during the climax, he gives a solid impactful performance. Jacqueline Fernandez's supportive role is good. Nasser as a menacing business tycoon delivered a natural performance.
The surprise package of the movie is Satyadev. The way he portrayed his character will be loved by all. He gave a tremendous performance and steals the show.
TECHNICAL ASPECTS:
Production values are rich. The cinematography is commendable as the underwater sequences, and locations from Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan have been picturized well. The art department should be given special mention as the sets are believable in the adventure film. Music and BGM by Daniel is terrific, especially the Ram Ram theme song reminds you well.
Coming to the Writer and Director Abhishek Sharma, he has done a great job with the film. It can be clearly understood that there is a lot of in-depth research happened for the movie. Abhishek should be appreciated for his brave attempt in bringing up such a mythological subject and finely tuned it to the current modern scientific world. This movie can be considered his best work to date.

Our Puranas, Vedas, and Mythological facts are proofs of our existence. Any religion preaches the same that Good will win over Evil. In any religion, It's important that we protect our Culture and traditions. Historical places like Ram Setu have significance connected to the epic Ramayana. We should not destroy our heritage in the name of progress and development. This subject is dealt with in a very mature manner in the Ram Setu film. These kinds of films are needed for the society which educated us and our future generations. Barring a few cliches and unnecessary scenes, I recommend you book your tickets and watch this film.
