AJ Lee Not Returning To WWE Despite CM Punk's Comeback?

Former Divas Champion AJ Lee (AJ Mendez) is unlikely to return to WWE anytime soon, despite her husband CM Punk's successful return last year.

While rumors swirled about a potential comeback, especially after a training video with Punk surfaced, @SEScoops confirm there are currently no talks to bring Lee back into the fold.



Lee, who retired in 2015 due to back issues, is said to be well-liked and respected within WWE. However, her return isn't a current topic of discussion. Reports suggest Lee desires a significant return rather than a one-time appearance, and WWE may not be on the same page for now.

CM Punk has publicly mentioned his wife on several occasions since his return, but it seems Lee will remain retired for the foreseeable future.

Forced into retirement due to spinal injuries, AJ Lee's (AJ Mendez) in-ring career culminated in a triumphant victory on March 30, 2015. Teaming with Naomi and Paige, they emerged victorious against Natalya and The Bella Twins at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. This marked Lee's final WWE appearance, and her hiatus appears unlikely to end in the near future.
