Detroit, 3 August 2023 - At SummerSlam, "Main Event" Jey Uso will look to beat the most dominant champion of the modern era, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns when they collide in a Tribal Combat!

Amidst fervent anticipation from WWE fans, the forthcoming clash between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso is being hotly anticipated. Notably, Cody Rhodes, one of WWE's prominent figures, has cast his prediction regarding the victor of this fierce encounter.



Having the spotlight at WrestleMania marked Rhodes' greatest validation yet, but emerging victorious in the WrestleMania main event remains an elusive achievement that Rhodes and his fellow WWE roster members are relentlessly pursuing. During WrestleMania 39's main event, Rhodes faced Roman Reigns in a divisive manner and suffered defeat, extending Reigns' remarkable world title reign to over 1,000 days.

While speaking in a sit-down interview with Forbes, Cody Rhodes picked the winner of Jey Uso Vs. Roman Reigns.

“I’m rooting for Jey,” said Rhodes when asked who he wants to win the Jey Uso vs. Roman Reigns main event. The first thing I did when Jey won is to just recognize, right then and there, the competitive nature of the moment. That, yes, that could have been me, but after acknowledging that up front, I was then able to get that out of the way and really be happy for Jey.

I don’t like rooting against people. I like seeing people succeed, and I know that I do not wish for people to root against me, so I try not to put that energy out there either. So to see Jey get such a big win, one that he earned, was something that made me proud knowing his journey and how hard he had to work to get there.”
