Chennai, August 12 - Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to rewrite the history books of Tamil cinema with his upcoming gangster action drama Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The actor-director duo is already creating havoc at the global box office even before the film's release, and the pre-sales numbers stand as solid proof.

Produced by Sun Pictures, Coolie is racing towards the historic 100 crore mark in its opening day pre-sales. With just one day left before release, the film has already scored around 75 crore worldwide, including 30+ crore gross from India, which is truly sensational.
