Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki Actor Sameer Sharma Found Dead At His Mumbai Home

The famous TV personality, Sameer Sharma who had worked in the popular tv-shows like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi found dead at his Mumbai home on Wednesday night.

According to the initial information shared by Malad police, the security guard at the apartment complex had informed the police. Sameer Sharma was found hanging from the kitchen ceiling at his apartment in Malad west on Wednesday (August 5) night.



Police said that an accidental death report has been registered and the body has been sent for autopsy.

"We have not found any evidence that suggests he may have been killed. Also, no suicide note has been found at the house so far. We are still investigating the case," an officer said. The body has been sent for autopsy.

The 44-year old was an acknowledged actor who gave some of the memorable performances through TV shows and movies. After working in the TV shows like Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Geet Hui Sabse Parayee, and Left Right Left, he made his Bollywood debut with the movie "Hasee Toh Phasee". He also appeared in the 2017 movie Ittefaq.

Sameer Sharma was last seen in the Star Plus show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke in which he played the role of Shaurya Maheshwari.
