Punjabi movie Ardaas Karaan to re-release as cinemas are re-opening in New Zealand on 25th June

New Zealand was one of the first countries that declared the nation COVID-19 free after no positive case was registered in 18 days. Now, to bring things back to normalcy, the theaters are re-opening with full capacity in the island country from June 25 which were closed due to the pandemic and lockdown.

Seeing at the popularity of Punjabi movies over there, 'Ardaas Karaan' that is a social drama film starring Gippy Grewal is going to re-release in New Zealand after the government announced the re-opening of the cinemas.

Ardaas Karaan is directed, produced, and written by Gippy Grewal who also played the lead role. The film was theatrically released on 19 July 2019. As of 6 September 2019, it has grossed ₹31.25 crores worldwide. The film also stars Gurpreet Ghuggi, Japji Khaira, Meher Vij, Yograj Singh, and Sapna Pabbi in the prominent roles.
