Los Angeles, November 21 - The moment movie lovers across the globe have been waiting for is just a few weeks away as Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are now in the final stage of preparation to release "Spider-Man: No Way Home". Arguably the biggest solo superhero movie ever made, "No Way Home" is scheduled to debut in theaters on December 17 in North America and in some of the international markets.
While the previous Spider-Man movies were highly successful, the upcoming flick is touted to be the next level of cinematic experience. The hype around this 3rd MCU Spidey film is absolutely thundering and with the first signs of the Villainous Multiverse breaking and full looks at five villains from past Spider-Man outings, the possibilities for this movie's scale are endless.
The first two trailers have already been given glimpses of what fans are going to witness in movie theaters. While blockbuster entertainment is guaranteed, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" is also an important film from the box office perspective. Fans, around the world, have an eagerness to learn just how big MCU's 27th film will be at the global box office.
There is no doubt that "No Way Home" is going to make huge money at the box office, and the latest box office projection for this Tom Holland-fronted also suggests the same. Currently Marvel/Sony's "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" holds the biggest domestic opening weekend during the pandemic era with $90 million, and "No Way Home" box office prediction by Box Office Pro revealed it to outperform "Venom 2" by a big margin, domestically.
The website, in its latest box office projection, has predicted a $135 million to $185 million opening in the US with a lifetime total domestic haul for "No Way Home" is projected to land between $375 million and $525 million. As for now, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" is in range to have not only the biggest opening weekend of a 2021 release but also the largest domestic opening of any Spider-Man movie ever, surpassing the $151 million for Spider-Man 3 (2007).
Directed by Jon Watts, "No Way Home" stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man alongside Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans, among others.
