Suriya 43: Suriya's Film With Director Sudha Kongara Officially Announced With Powerful Cast and First Look Glimpse
Chennai, October 26 - Tamil star Suriya and director Sudha Kongara reunited for a new film, tentatively titled Suriya 43. The duo previously collaborated on "Soorarai Pottru" which received critical acclaim upon its release on Amazon Prime Video in 2020.
Produced by Suriya and Jyothika's 2D Entertainment in association with Meenakashi Cinemas, "Suriya 43" is said to be inspired by real-life events. The movie was announced with the first look glimpse which shows a riot-like situation with a thrilling background score by GV Prakash Kumar.
Apart from the film announcement, the makers also confirmed the primary cast. Suriya plays the lead role alongside Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Fahadh, and Vijay Varma. Interestingly, the last part of the title has been revealed, which is "Purananooru" while the rest of the title name is hidden.

The shoot of "Suriya 43" is expected to commence soon, after the actor wraps up director Siva's ambitious "Kanguva". Apart from this, the star Tamil actor is also in talks with Rakeish Omprakash Mehra for the ambitious "Karna" based on the epic Mahabharata. It is expected to go on floors in 2024.
