The Priest Public Review: All Eyes On This Mammootty Starrer First Mollywood Biggie In A Year

Megastar Mammootty starrer mystery thriller film, 'The Priest' finally released in theaters on March 11. Also stars Manju Warrier as the female lead, it is the first big star Malayalam movie releasing in theaters after almost a year and needless to say, it has given a much-needed booster dose to the ailing Kerala theaters. Directed by Jofin T. Chacko, The Priest marks the first collaboration of Mammootty and Manju Warrier in their career, and moviegoers are super excited.

The Priest was initially scheduled to release in August 2020. Post lockdown relaxations and since the audience is getting back in theatres, makers of The Priest decided to release the film on the big screen, however, it still postponed a few more times before it finally hit theaters on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
