WWE NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day 2021: Finn Balor Vs. Pete Dunne - WWE NXT Championship Full Match, Winner
Finn Balor still remains the WWE NXT Champion as he successfully defended against Pete Dunne at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day.

The challenger Pete Dunne out first. He was followed by the NXT Champion Finn Balor. They both stared down as the announcer hyped the match. The bell ring as Finn Balor drove Pete Dunne back into the turnbuckle.
Both back to the middle, Finn Balor once again pummeled Pete Dunne right into the canvas. They were leading the battle with no high-risk strikes, Finn Balor continued to make his dominance.
Finn Balor was running over while Pete Dunne was down under the control of Finn Balor. Cover made by Finn, but Pete Dunne kicked out at two, Pete Dunne with his feet around Finn Balor's neck trying to make him tap out, but Finn Balor handled it out. Pete Dunne was able to roll over Finn Balor for Armbar another time. Pete Dunne was all focused on torching Finn Balor's left hand. Finn Balor with a nice reversal looked for the submission with an ankle lock.
Pete Dunne wisely broke the hold, Finn Balor was still taking over. Finn Balor tried to switch over Pete Dunne so as to have single crap. Pete Dunne avoided it all behind and put the offense on Finn Balor.
Another Takedown for Finn Balor followed by a massive Clothesline for the cover but kicked out at two. Finn Balor with the beat down Pete Dunne with back to back elbows to the neck and went for Armlock. Pete Dunne was started fainting once, but able to get out with a snap to the fingers of Finn Balor. Champion continued to dominant the game, the match was really going in the direction of excellence.
This time the challenger Pete Dunne with a Powerbomb for the cover, but Finn Balor still kicked out at two and a half. Finn Balor out with the way up to the rope of the turnbuckle followed by a jump, Pete Dunne ducked and quickly performed Triangle.
Finn Balor somehow was able to step out of there, Finn Balor fired back. Finn Balor was almost out when Pete Dunne snapped his fingers and then went for this move for the cover. Pete Dunne looked for the second Powerbomb, but this time Finn Balor with a DDT instead. The time was almost closer to the winner of the match.

Finn Balor removed Pete Dunne's mouth pice and went for the Dropkick in order to have a double stomp from the top of the turnbuckle. Finn Balor was able to retain the title with 1916.
