Abhishek Bachchan To Reunite With John Abraham In The Hindi Remake Of The Malayalam Film Ayyappanum Koshiyum?

Mumbai, June 29, 2021: Last year on May 26, John Abraham had announced that he had bought the Hindi remake rights of the 2020 Malayalam film "Ayyappanum Koshiyum". He had said that he will be producing this action thriller film under his banner JA Entertainment. ## While the casting of the film was not announced then, it has now been said that John Abraham will play one of the lead roles in the film. And to make things even more interesting, Abhishek Bachchan, who has starred with John in Dostana and Dhoom earlier, will reportadly reunite with him in the Ayyappanum Koshiyum Hindi remake. ## The official announcement on the casting is yet to be made, but according to reports, John and Abhishek will step into the shoes of Biju Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran respectively. Mission Mangal fame Jagan Shakti will be directing the film and the shooting will reportadly commence in September this year. ## Ayyappanum Koshiyum revolves around the conflict between Koshy Kurien, an influential and wealthy ex-Havildar, and Ayyappan Nair, a Sub-inspector in Attappadi. Akshay Kumar's Next With Bell Bottom Makers Is The Remake Of Tamil Psychological Crime Thriller, Ratsasan?

Mumbai, June 29, 2021: Recently, it was reported that Akshay Kumar will be doing one more film with the makers of his upcoming spy thriller film, Bell Bottom (scheduled to release on July 27). It was said that producer Vashu Bhagnani narrated the script to Akshay during the shoot of Bell Bottom and was agreed to star in it. ## Now, according to Peepingmoon, the reports were indeed true and the movie is the official remake of the 2018 Tamil psychological crime thriller film, Ratsasan. The report said that Akshay will be stepping into the shoes of Vishnu Vishal in the critically-acclaimed film. Rakul Preet Singh has reportadly been cast opposite Akshay to play the female lead. ## It will be directed by Ranjit M Tewari, who also helmed Bell Bottom while Vashu Bhagnani of Pooja Entertainment will be producing it. The film is currently in the pre-production stage and will go on the floors in August in London following the bio-bubble protocols. The film will be finished in quick succession as the cast and crew will fly to London on August 5, for a start-to-finish schedule. ## Ratsasan is about an aspiring filmmaker who becomes a police officer after his father's death and investigates the murder of school girls. However, according to the latest development, the movie is set to be delayed once again. Due to the covid-19 situation in Mumbai, Maharashtra, the makers have said to be canceled the plan to roll out the film in July in Mumbai. ## According to the reports, the makers are now planning to roll out the film in August this year with the first scheduled to be shot abroad. Pushkar – Gayatri (a husband-wife duo), who helmed the original Vikram Vedha, will also be directing the Hindi remake. Kiara Advani On Board For RC15 And Anniyan Hindi Remake?

Mumbai, June 24, 2021: Actress Kiara Advani is one of the busiest actresses at the moment. The Kabir Singh actress has been doing some of the fantastic films off late. Currently, she has four films in the pipeline. While her Shershaah with Sidharth Malhorta is completed, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Jug Jugg Jeeyo, and Mr. Lele are under production. ## Now, it is learnt that Kiara has been roped in to play the female lead in Ram Charan's next Pan India film with director Shankar Shanmugam. According to Pinkvilla, Kiara has signed a multi-film deal with Shankar including RC15 and Anniyan Hindi remake starring Ranveer Singh. ## It is said that Kiara will be a part of both - RC15 and Anniyan remake. It will be the second time when Kiara will share screen space with Ram Charan while Anniyan Hindi remake will mark her first movie with Ranveer Singh. The character details and shoot schedules have been kept under wraps, however, the Shankar film Ranveer Singh will go on floors sometime next year, only once the work on RC 15 is concluded. ## Apart from these two films, the actress might also star in Shankar's 3rd film. However, the report suggests that it's not known if that too will be helmed by Shankar or just produced by him. While the first two will happen in a quick span, the third one might take some time to roll out. ## Meanwhile, according to reports, RC15 will be a historical drama film. It will be Ram Charan's first movie after the period action film, RRR that is scheduled to release worldwide on October 13 this year. RC15 will also have a grand pan India release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. It will be produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the production banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. ## On the other hand, Ranveer's film is the official Hindi adaptation of Shankar's own directorial 2005 Tamil psychological action thriller, "Anniyan" starring Chiyaan Vikram. Kangana Ranaut To Star And Direct Indira Gandhi's Biopic, Titled Emergency

Mumbai, June 24, 2021: Bollywood star, Kangana Ranaut is all set to direct his second after Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, which she co-directed with Krish. The actress had recently announced that she is collaborating with writer-director Sai Kabir for a political drama that revolves around former India Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. ## However, for a change, she has now decided to direct the film herself along with starring in the film in the role of Indira Gandhi. She took to microblogging app, Koo, and said that no one can direct the film, which is titled Emergency, better than her after working on the film for more than a year. ## "Pleased to wear director's hat again, after working on Emergency for more than a year I finally figured no one can direct it better than me. Collaborating with fabulous writer Ritesh Shah, even if it means sacrificing on various acting assignments I am determined to do it, my excitement is high. Hyderabad Shooters Contemplating Legal Action Against Makers Of Amazon Prime Video Film 'Sherni' For Projecting Them 'Trigger-Happy Shooters'

Mumbai, June 24, 2021: Vidya Balan starrer thriller film, "Sherni", invites fresh controversy. The movie, which released on June 18 directly on Amazon Prime Video, deals with the subjects like human-wildlife conflict and wildlife conservation. It shows how human greed is destroying wildlife. ## While the movie deals with the sensitive subject of wildlife, the makers of the film have been alleged for "twisting of facts" relating to the killing of tigress Avni. A Hyderabad shooter Asghar Ali Khan, who shot dead tigress Avni in Maharashtra's Yavatmal in 2018, is contemplating legal action against the makers of the film. "We are consulting the legal advisers. We have not yet taken a final call," Asghar Ali Khan told IANS on Wednesday. #### He has accused the makers of the film of presenting a completely different story regarding the killing of tigress Avni. Asghar Ali Khan, who is the son of well-known shooter Nawab Sahafath Ali Khan, alleged that the movie projected them as "trigger-happy shooters". "We had gone there at the invitation of the government and killed the man-eater tigress which had mauled to death 14 persons but we were projected as if we were hunting for fun", he said. ## He argued that the way the makers presented them in the film, could damage their reputation and add "fuel to the fire" to the sensitive matter which is already subjudice. Abundantia Entertainment Pvt Ltd, one of the producers of the film, however, clarified that "Sherni" is a creative work of fiction and will not hamper "any supposed ongoing investigation" or damage Asghar Ali or his father's reputation. ## Asghar Ali, however, is not satisfied with this. "If there is one similarity between what was shown in the movie and what happened in Avni's case, it can be called coincidence but there are so many similarities. There was a lady officer in the real operation, there is a lady officer (Vidya Balan) in the movie. There are other similarities like two cubs of the tigress and the use of urine of another tiger to attract the tigress", he said.## Sherni is directed by Amit V. Masurkar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, and Amit V. Masurkar under the banners of T-Series, and Abundantia Entertainment.
