Artificial Intelligence (AI) To Be Used To Dub Suriya's Voice In 'Kanguva' All Languages

Chennai, October 14 - In probably first of its kind experiment, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is to be used to dub Tamil star Suriya's voice in all languages in the upcoming much-anticipated Pan India movie Kanguva, directed by Siva. ## Producer Gnanavel Raja has said (via Only Kollywood) that there will be a fresh new style for Kanguva in terms of its worldwide dubbing, as the makers are opting for an AI process, which will make the lead character's vocals very similar to that of Suriya, through the technology.## It is said that different people will dub for Suriya in each language but it will later be altered to the actor's voice to give it an original feel.## Kanguva is the biggest movie for Suriya in terms of budget and scale. It has been one of the keenly-awaited Pan India movies that also stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in their Tamil debut. Chennai, October 12 - Superstar Rajinikanth's action drama Vettaiyan has topped 100 crores gross at the worldwide box office after the super strong second day. The movie had a mid-week release on Thursday and despite that, it took a solid opening of 64 crores globally. ## On its second day/first Friday, Vettaiyan dropped just around 25% at the domestic box office and grossed approximately 27.80 crores. Additionally, the movie minted approximately 14 crores gross collection internationally, making it a 42 crores gross second day worldwide. ## The rock-solid collection on Friday pushed the total to past 100 crores gross at approximately 105.80 crores, including 64.80 crores gross in India and 41 crores overseas. The movie had a very good start with 37 crores gross collection domestically. ## On its second day/first Friday, the movie is holding its ground firmly, especially in the home state, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. Directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment, the GOAT finished its box office run as one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of all time. The GOAT was released on September 5, on Thursday and scored the second biggest opening ever for a Tamil title at the worldwide box office with 100 crores gross collection. It is also the third-biggest opening for an Indian title of 2024 after Kalki 2898 AD and Devara. The movie received a mixed reception from critics and audiences, and despite that, Thalapathy Vijay pulled off a fantastic first weekend with approximately 281 crores gross worldwide. No Solo Release For Suriya's Pan India Movie 'Kanguva'?

Chennai, September 18 - Tamil star Suriya's much-awaited Pan India movie Kanguva has been delayed to avert a clash with superstar Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan. Directed by Siva, the film was supposed to be released on October 10 in multiple languages. ## A new release date of Kanguva is yet to be announced but reports say it is eyeing to release in November, either on Diwali or two weeks later. Being a big-budget and the biggest film for the talent involved, it is believed that the makers are trying to give it a solo release in major markets, thus keeping their options open. ## It has been learned that stakeholders are betting big on Kanguva to deliver at the Hindi box office other than Tamil and Telugu, however, as the days pass, it seems the movie won't get a free pass and there are high chances it might come up against a mighty Bollywood film. ## If Kanguva decides to release on Diwali, then there are currently hugely-anticipated, Ajay Devgn-fronted Singham Again and Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, scheduled to be released and will easily be taking the maximum number of screens.## Another scenario for Kanguva is the November 14/15 release, which is more likely to be its official date. However, it is another complicated date for a dub release as there is a buzz in the Bollywood industry that Singham Again is likely to be pushed back by two weeks on November 15. ## In case of a clash with any of the aforementioned two Bollywood films, Kanguva will certainly be more affected. Box Office: 'The Greatest of All Time' Tops 400 Crore Worldwide; Second For Thalapathy Vijay

Chennai, September 17 - Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time has topped 400 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office, becoming the first Tamil movie of 2024 and the 6th overall to achieve the feat. ## Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The GOAT surpassed the box office milestone on its 12th day after scoring another approximately 10 crores gross on its 2nd Monday which took its total worldwide cume to around 407 crores. It is the second highest-grossing film of Vijay after Leo (606 crores gross).## The GOAT has grossed approximately 258 crores at the domestic box office, including approx. 185 crores gross collection in Tamil Nadu. In the next couple of days, the movie will enter the 200 crores club in the home state and will become only the third movie ever to breach the milestone after Ponniyin Selvan 1 and Leo. ## Overseas, the movie has scored approximately 150 crores in 12 days, becoming only the second movie Vijay to reach this figure after Leo which grossed 204 crores internationally which is also the highest ever for a Tamil title, ahead of superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer (196 crores). ## As said, The GOAT is the 6th Tamil movie ever after 2.0 (745 crores), Leo (606 crores), Jailer (604.50 crores), Ponniyin Selvan 1 (488 crores), and Vikram (414.50 crores) to cross the 400 crores gross at the worldwide box office. Ajith Kumar's 'Vidaa Muyarchi' To Release In December 2024

Chennai, September 16 - Tamil star Ajith Kumar has two films in the pipeline in the form of action thriller Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni and an action comedy Good Bad Ugly with director Adhik Ravichandran. ## As already announced, Good Bad Ugly is eyeing the Pongal 2025 release, however, there might be some changes regarding the same. During the SIIMA awards ceremony, actor Arjun Sarja shared that Vidaa Muyarchi will be released in December 2024.## Arjun, who is playing a prominent role in this Lyca Productions venture, said that he has completed the climax fight scene and the makers will be releasing the film in 2-3 months around December this year. Earlier, the movie was supposed to hit the big screen during Diwali weekend. ## With Vidaa Muyarchi now eyeing a December release, Good Bad Ugly will certainly be moved back from the Pongal release. Box Office: 'The GOAT' Heads To Become Third Movie To Enter 200 Crore Club In Tamil Nadu

Chennai, September 15 - Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time is having a fantastic second weekend at the Tamil Nadu box office, overcoming the mixed reviews like a proper well-received blockbuster.## Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The GOAT grossed approximately 143.50 crores in Tamil Nadu in its extended first week (8 days) and started the second weekend with a jump on the second Friday, crossing the 150 crores gross mark in the state.## Since there is no competition in the home market, The GOAT witnessed another excellent jump of almost 100% on the second Saturday to score approximately 13.75 crores gross collection, which took its total collection to 164+ crores in the state which is the fifth highest of all time. ## The action blockbuster is heading towards entering the 200 crores gross club in Tamil Nadu as it will be around 178+ crores by the end of the second weekend. Thalapathy 69: Thalapathy Vijay's Next Film's Details Announced With Release Date

Chennai, September 14 - Thalapathy Vijay, arguably the biggest Tamil star, has officially announced his 69th film which is said to be his final movie before his political entry under his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.## Tentatively titled Thalapathy 69, the film will be directed by H. Vinoth, marking his maiden collaboration with the superstar.
