Box Office: 'Avatar 2' Crosses 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' To Become Biggest Worldwide Grosser Of Pandemic Era
Los Angeles, January 18 - James Cameron has done it again as his latest blockbuster Avatar: The Way of Water has become the highest-grossing film globally of the covid-19 pandemic era. ## The sci-fi epic surpassed Marvel/Sony's "Spider-Man: No Way Home's" $1.92 billion on Tuesday and also become the 6th highest-grossing tentpole of all time. It has grossed $572 million domestically (North America) and $1.35 billion internationally, for a global cume of $1.916 billion through 5th Monday. ## The Disney-backed tentpole will be hitting $2 billion worldwide by the 6th Sunday and will become only the 6th film ever to achieve the feat.
