AB De Villiers declared fit, will play against CSK
Royal Challengers Bangalore received a big boost ahead of their all-important match against Chennai Super Kings on Saturday (May 5), as their star batsman, AB de Villiers declared fit after missed out previous two games due to viral fever.
De Villiers likely to replace his national side teammate wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock who has flown back home to attend a wedding.
"AB is back fit, Quinton is away from this game. Quinton has returned home for a wedding so he is unavailable for this match so probably it's an easy decision for us to make,"head coach Daniel Vettori said on Friday (May 4).
However Vettori has confirmed that Quinton will be joining the squad ahead of RCB's next match against table-toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday (May 7).
AB is RCB's second highest run-getter in this season of IPL after Virat Kohli(349 runs) with 280 runs an average of 56. His top score of this IPl came against Delhi Daredevils earlier this season where he finished on unbeaten 90 off 39 balls.
AB's return will really boost RCB's confidence as they are currently sitting on 6th spot with 6 points in 8 matches. For more and latest news about IPL 2018, Stay tuned to us.
