Box Office: Prabhas' 'Salaar' Beats 'Jailer' To Become 5th Biggest Indian Grosser of 2023 Domestically

Hyderabad, January 2 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire concluded 2023 on a high note, entering the 500 crores gross club at the worldwide box office. It is the first 500 crores grosser for Prabhas since "Baahubali 2" (2017); overall, it is his 3rd.

The Prashanth Neel's directorial blockbuster has kicked off 2024 by keeping the film's blockbuster run continuing as it has now become the 5th biggest Indian grosser of 2023 at the domestic box office. It has beaten the likes of "Jailer" starring superstar Rajinikanth and "Leo"-led by Thalapathy Vijay.



The action drama film scored approximately 16.35 crores net collection in all versions on its 11th day, pushing the total collection to 361.62 crores. "Jailer" had scored approximately 348 crores net in its lifetime run and is now the 6th biggest net-grosser of 2023 domestically.

It will most likely breach the 600 crores mark by the 3rd weekend and will also surpassed lifetime worldwide grosses of "Jailer" and "Leo" to become 5th biggest Indian grosser of 2023 globally.
