As of the end of its fifteenth day, the film has achieved a worldwide gross collection of ₹308.67 Cr. The domestic market has been the primary driver, contributing an India gross of ₹215.87 Cr, while the overseas markets added ₹92.80 Cr to the tally. In terms of net earnings, the film has managed to pocket ₹185.15 Cr across a total of 114,846 shows tracked so far.
The second week displayed a characteristic fluctuation in gross collections. Following a quieter second Friday with ₹4.12 Cr, the film saw a significant surge on Saturday, bringing in ₹9.05 Cr. This upward trend peaked on the second Sunday, which recorded a strong gross of ₹12.42 Cr. However, the typical weekday trend followed, with the second Monday seeing a drop to ₹4.43 Cr gross. By its fifteenth day, the daily gross settled at ₹1.84 Cr. Despite these mid-week variations, the film successfully crossed the ₹300 Cr worldwide gross milestone on its twelfth day, indicating a steady interest in the domestic market.

The Tamil 2D version saw a substantial volume of viewers, recording 1,976,779 tracked footfalls. When we look at the numbers without block seats, the figure stands at 1,308,542, indicating a high level of genuine individual interest even in its second week. In comparison, the Hindi 2D version had a much lighter footprint with 199,268 total footfalls and 127,024 without block seats. In terms of audience engagement, BookMyShow data shows that Jana Nayagan has sold approximately 4.20 million tickets by the end of its second week. This impressive performance secures the film the fifth spot on the list of all-time highest ticket sales on the platform (trailing behind Jailer [8.13M], Leo [6.89M], Coolie [5.95M], and The Goat [4.23M]). The interest was particularly high during the second weekend, which saw a total of 446,580 tickets sold between Friday and Sunday, with the peak coming on Saturday with 180,670 bookings.

The performance in national multiplex chains like PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis also remained steady, with more than 125,000 tickets sold across these chains throughout the week. On its fifteenth day, the movie recorded approximately 6,650 tickets sold in these chains, which translates to a gross of 8.75 Lakhs. Despite a higher show count for other major releases, Jana Nayagan maintained a healthy occupancy rate of about 9 percent across 300+ shows, showing that the core audience in regional markets is still turning up as the film enters its third week.
While the domestic numbers are respectable, the overseas performance has been a different story. According to reporting from Venky Box Office, the film is heading for a disaster status in the North American market. The total gross in that region stands at just $1.56M, with a very low Tuesday collection of $8,000. For a film of this scale, the inability to crack the $2M mark in North America is a significant setback. Overall, the overseas gross has reached ₹92.80 Cr, showing that while the film has an audience abroad, it hasn't quite reached the heights expected of a top-tier South Indian production.
