Box Office: 'Tiger 3' Second Day Early Estimates; Records Second Biggest 2nd Day
Mumbai, November 13 - After the record-breaking opening day, Salman Khan-led "Tiger 3" witnessed excellent growth of at least 30% on its second day at the domestic box office. The growth is mainly in North India as areas which underperformed on day one come to the party today.
The spy action thriller is tracking to earn around 56-57 crores net collection in Hindi, which is the second biggest 2nd day. The two-day collection of the film is near or will cross the 100 crores mark in the original language. The Tamil and Telugu versions are expected to bring in around 1 crores net for all India around 58 crores Saturday.
Day 2 of "Tiger 3" started slower than yesterday due to the festive activities but jumped massively from the noon shows with heavy spot bookings. The collection in Utter Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan witnessed huge growth while there is also a very good jump in East Punjab as well as Gujarat and some other areas.
The collection of the film may further go up tomorrow and the day after due to New Year's Day and Bhai Dhooj which are expected to bring smaller centres on board with full force. All and all, the film is in very good positive to have a rock-solid long holiday weekend before mixed word of mouth starts showing its effect.
