Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, And Others Celebrate Neeraj Chopra's HISTORIC Gold Medal Victory In Tokyo Olympics 2020

Mumbai, August 8, 2021: India finished Tokyo Olympics 2020 with a best-ever haul of 7 medals after javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra's historic gold medal win. Chopra, who is also a Subedar in the Indian Army, created history and becomes the first-ever Olympic athletics gold medalist for India. He is also the only second individual after Abhinav Bindra to win a gold medal at the Olympic games.

It was Neeraj Chopra's debut outing in the Olympic games and make it a memorable one by throwing 87.58 meters in the final to win the gold medal. Chopra had also topped the qualification round with a breathtaking 86.59m throw and in the final, his first two throws were above 87m, which assured India's first gold medal in 13-years.



Meanwhile, the whole nation is celebrating Chopra historic win. Film stars like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Priyanka Chopra among many others took to social media and congratulate the golden boy for making India proud on the international stage.
