Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's Untitled Rom-Com Gets Postponed; New Release Date Revealed

Mumbai, October 3 - Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's yet-untitled romantic-comedy film that was scheduled to release on December 8, 2023, has been postponed to February 2024.

Billed as An Impossible Love Story, the movie is written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah while Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films has produced it. December 2023 has been packed with many blockbuster releases, keeping a very short gap between the two movies.



The robotic romantic-comedy movie will now be released on Valentine's Day 2024 weekend, on February 9, in the best interest of the movie. The movie's theme is in sync with Valentine's Day which will appeal to the youth. Apart from being a unique love story, the movie also rides on strong music which said to be its major USP.

Meanwhile, as officially announced earlier, Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi's "Marry Christmas", which was supposed to be released on December 15, has been preponed by a week and will now be hitting big screens on December 8. Siddharth Malhotra's "Yodha" has also been advanced to December 8, 2023.

There are currently 5 much-awaited movies scheduled to release in December 2023. Ranbir Kapoor's "Animal" and Vicky Kaushal-starrer "Sam Bahadur" will take on each other on December 1st, followed by "Marry Christmas" on December 8, and Shah Rukh Khan's "Dunki" and Prabhas-fronted "Salaar" will battle it out on December 22nd.
