Sanjay Leela Bhansali Locks Non-Theatrical Deals For Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal's 'Love and War'

Mumbai, September 16 - Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is gearing up to commence the shoot of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal-fronted Love and War this October while the movie is scheduled for March 20, 2026, release.
Love & War is easily one of the most anticipated Bollywood movies and is attracting eyeballs with its phenomenal casting. Now, ahead of the shoot commencement, SLB has locked non-theatrical deals for this epic tale of romance set against the backdrop of war.
According to the report by Pinkvilla, SLB will be funding the movie apart from directing it despite the lucrative offers from studios. It is said that the production cost is expected to be around 200 crores (excluding talent fees) which will be funded by Bhansali.
The maverick filmmaker has signed a post-theatrical streaming deal with Netflix with some terms and conditions. The report states that the base price for the deal with Netflix is Rs 130 crore, with the scope to go bigger depending on the box-office performance.
Apart from streaming, SLB has sold music rights to Saregama for 35 crores, whereas the talks are going on for a satellite deal with a leading network in the vicinity of Rs 50 crore. The overall non-theatrical revenue for the movie is expected to be in the range of Rs 215 crore which can go higher based on the box office performance.
