MHA: No restriction on Medical Oxygen Between State and Allow Free Inter-State Movement
New Delhi, April 22, 2021: Due to the rapid rise in COVID-19 cases, the availability of an adequate and uninterrupted supply of medical oxygen is an important pre-requisite for managing a moderate and severe case of COVID-19 and with the increasing cases, the medical oxygen supply will need to pace with the requirements of the States/UTs.
There were some reports that some states are interfering in the inter-state movement of oxygen-carrying vehicles and many hospitals seek govt of India's help so, on Thursday, the Ministry of Home Affairs released an Order.
