Indian Women's ODI skipper Mithali Raj became first Indian player (Male or Female) to complete 2000 runs in T20 Internationals on Thursday, June 7. She has now 2,015* T20I runs.
The 35-year old Right-hander is now on 7th place in leading run scorer in T20I.
Former England captain Charlotte Edwards is leading the chart with 2605 runs.
Raj reached this feat against Sri Lanka in Asia Cup where she scored 33-ball 23 while chasing 108 runs.
However, Raj is leading run-getter in ODIs with 6373 runs.
Mithali Raj left behind Virat Kohli who has scored 1983 runs in across genders.
