Rahane Reaches To Another Landmark

India's middle-order batsman and Test team vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane completed 3000 runs in Test cricket.

The Test between England and India at Trent Bridge is Rahane's 48th Test match. He took only 81 innings to reach this milestone.

He is the quickest to reach 3000 runs in terms of innings. Only Dilip Vengsarkar and Vijay Manjrekar took longer time (88 innings each) than Rahane. Gundappa Vishwanath also took 81 innings.

Rahane has been India's one of the pillars in Test cricket in the last couple of years especially in overseas conditions, he has been among the best in recent times.
