Rajkummar Rao And Bhumi Pednekar Commence Shooting Of Comedy-Drama Badhaai Do
Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar, on Tuesday (January 5), commenced the shooting of their upcoming comedy-drama, "Badhaai Do" in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The movie is a sequel to the National Award-winning super-hit movie, Badhaai Ho!.
Pednekar took to Instagram and shared an image from the first day of the shoot and wrote, "Shuru ho gai hai hamari kahani, Jahan hai dono Raja aur Rani, Shardul Aur Sumi hai ekdam pyaare, Yeh dono hai situation ke maare, Milenge hum aapse jald, Ho jayega tab sab clear aur tab hum kahengey, #BadhaaiDo".
Badhaai Do is directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni and written by Suman Adhikary and Akshat Ghildial, who had co-written Badhaai Ho!. The movie marks the first collaboration between Rao and Pednekar, who reportedly playing a cop and a PT teacher, respectively.
Badhaai Do is being produced by Junglee Pictures which also bankrolled Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra starrer Badhaai Ho.
