Saina Nehwal Creates History
It was a historic day for India in Badminton in Asian Games 2018. Star shuttler Saina Nehwal created history by becoming first Indian women badminton player to win a medal in the single event in Asian Games.
However, she missed out an opportunity to play Gold medal match as she loses her semi-final match against World No.1 Tai Tzu Ying in straight games by 17-21, 14-21 and therefore, she has to satisfied with Bronze Medal.
On the other hand, another star player and third-seeded PV Sindhu enter in the final after beating second-seeded Akane Yamaguchi in three sets by 21-17, 15-21, 21-10 in the second semi-final.
Sindhu will face the No.1 Tai Tzu Ying in the finals of Asian Games. The final should be a cracker as both the players have looked unbeatable so far.
