Regarded as one of the best politicians and great actresses, Jayalalitha's biopic Thalaivi is finally scheduled to release on 10th September 2021 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

Thalaivi is an Indian multilingual biographical film about the life of J. Jayalalithaa, a politician and film actress who served six terms as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, with Kangana Ranaut playing the role of Jayalalithaa.
The film is directed by A. L. Vijay and produced by Vibri Media in collaboration with Karma Media And Entertainment. Simultaneously shot in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages under the same title, filming began on 10 November 2019.
