The Conjuring Franchise Crossed $2 Billion At The Global Box Office
Los Angeles, July 31, 2021: The Conjuring film franchise has become the most successful horror series of all time as the franchise has crossed a massive $2 billion mark at the global box office. New Line Cinema, one of the producers of the horror series, confirmed on Saturday.
"The Conjuring Universe just passed $2 Billion at the global box office! Thank you to the filmmakers, cast, crew, and FANS who have made this the most successful horror series of all time!", the company announces on Twitter.
The latest installment in the series, "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It", is nearly $200 million at the global box office. Made in the budget of around $40 million, "The Conjuring 3" currently stands at a gross of $194 million worldwide.
Warner Bros. is the distribution company of the franchise. "The Conjuring 3" has had a day and date release on HBO Max and in theaters on June 4 in the USA. In India, the movie is scheduled to release on August 13 in theaters.
