The United Kingdom Announces Sending Life-Saving Medical Equipment to India
London, April 25, 2021: As India is having a shortage of medical equipment in handling the COVID-19 second wave crisis so it needs support from outside countries.
On Sunday, Govt of the United Kingdom announces that it will be sending life-saving medical equipment including ventilators and oxygen concentrator devices, to India as the country battles a severe second wave of coronavirus pandemic.
The UK is sending 600 pieces of vital medical equipment.
Other than the UK, India got support from the US, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore through bilateral efforts.
Yesterday, India recorded nearly 3.5 lakh new coronavirus cases so wear a mask and be safe.
