Vidya Balan's Sherni To Premiere Directly On Amazon Prime Video

Mumbai, May 17, 2021: Vidya Balan starrer Sherni becomes the latest to be announced for direct OTT release. Directed by Amit Masurkar, the drama thriller will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in June.

It is the second back-to-back film of Balan which is releasing directly on Amazon Prime. Earlier, the biographical drama film, Shakuntala Devi had also released on Prime Video on 31 July 2020.

Vidya Balan took to Twitter and announced the digital premiere of Sherni with an official poster. "Fearless as she steps out into the world! Happy to announce my latest film 'Sherni' @primevideoin. Meet #SherniOnPrime in June", she wrote.

Sherni is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, and Amit Masurkar under the banner of T-Series, and Abundantia Entertainment. It also stars Ila Arun, and Vijay Raaz in key roles.
