Mumbai, May 15 - A day after it was reported that Telugu superstar Jr. NTR is in talks to play the Father of Indian Cinema, Dadasaheb Phalke, on the big screen in the movie titled Made In India, it has now been announced that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani are reuniting for the Dadasaheb Phalke's biopic. ## Aamir and Hirani, who previously worked together in 3 Idiots (2008) and PK (2024), have been in talks for their third collaboration, which has now been officially confirmed. Mumbai, May 14 - In another fresh turn of events, Maddock Films' romantic comedy drama Bhool Chuk Maaf is getting back to the theatrical release. The movie is directed by Karan Sharma and produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films in association with Amazon MGM Studios.## Over the last week, the film has been in the news for a couple of reasons. On May 8, the makers announced the Bhool Chuk Maaf's theatrical release, which was May 10, was called off amid the India and Pakistan border tensions and was rescheduled to a direct digital release on Prime Video on May 16. ## However, the decision to send the movie directly on digital invited the legal battle as PVR-Inox sued Maddock, seeking 60 crore in damages for breach of contract and requesting a stay on the film's digital release. Later, the Bombay High Court granted major relief to the theatre chain and stopped the OTT release of the movie. ## Now, according to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the film is back on track for a theatrical release. It is said that the movie will now hit the big screens on May 23. The report further states that while Bollywood films are mandatory to have an 8-week theatrical window, Bhool Chuk Maaf might debut on Prime Video in just two weeks, on June 6, 2025. ## Meanwhile, Maddock Films doesn't have to pay any amount to PVRInox, as the latter has withdrawn the demands of Rs 60 crore from the former. It will be released through Rana Daggubati's Suresh Productions. He will reportedly play the role of SRK's mentor. "Shah Rukh Khan plays an assassin in King, Anil Kapoor will be seen as his handler", says the report.## "There were multiple actors considered for the part, but the team amicably feels that Anil Kapoor suits the role to the T. Mumbai, May 10 - National multiplex theatre chain, PVRINOX, has reportedly sued producer Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films for cancelling the theatrical release date of its romantic comedy drama Bhool Chuk Maaf at the last minute. ## A day before the film's release on May 9, Maddock Films and Amazon Prime issued a statement stating that the theatrical release of Bhool Chuk Maaf was called off aftermath of the ongoing border conflict between India and Pakistan. The studio announced that the movie would now be released directly on Prime Video on May 9. ## According to the report by Bollywood Hungama, PVR Inox has decided to take legal action against the production house for damages of Rs. 60 crores for non-playability of the movie. While Maddock stated the conflict as the reason behind the decision, the theatre alleged that the decision was taken due to poor advance booking. ## "PVR has submitted their case in the Bombay High Court. The matter became serious as all the contracts were signed, and then suddenly Maddock backed off. Amid several sequels already in the works, the latest reports suggest there are nearly half a dozen more films that are getting a franchise treatment. ## According to the latest report by Pinkvilla, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi 2, Queen 2, and Kahani 3 are already in development, and now, the sequels to Luka Chuppi, Garam Masala, and Brahasmtra have also entered the writing stage. It is to be noted that the demand for all these sequels has been going on for some time now.## Among the aforementioned sequels, Brahmastra Part 2 - Dev was one of the first to be confirmed, and the report says that director Ayan Mukerji has started working on it, though he is currently directing War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, and is on the verge of wrapping it up. ## It is said that Mukerji has got on board a fresh set of writers for Brahmastra 2. Rajat Arora (Once Upon A Time in Mumbai & Kick) is working on the dialogues of Brahmastra 2, with another team working towards polishing the screenplay. ## The filming of this epic fantasy action-adventure sequel is expected to start in the second half of 2026 after Ayan wraps up his current commitments.
