Mumbai, May 22 - Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's highly-awaited Pan India movie Spirit with superstar Prabhas, seems to have a major casting shift after Deepika Padukone reportedly exited the film for some reason. ## It is said that Deepika was officially on board to play the female lead role, but has now been dropped from the film. According to the report by Bollywood Hungama, SRV got the shock of his life when Deepika Padukone refused to shoot for more than 6 hours a day for Spirit. ## Apart from the shooting hours, Deepika, through her agency, reportedly demanded an amendment to the contract. Their point of contention was simple - if the shoot extends beyond 100 days, Deepika will have to be paid extra for every single day of the shoot beyond the commitment on paper. ## The report further states that director Vanga, along with the producers, tried their best to sort out the issues, but the actress refused to bow down, eventually leading Vanga to drop the Kalki actress from the movie. He is now looking to recast for the part. ## Interestingly, Deepika had earlier turned down the offer as the shooting timelines did not match due to her pregnancy. Paresh Rawal's unprofessional behaviour has cost a bomb to the film". ## "All the amounts invested by Cape of Good Films, to make a debt-free product, were done only after the OG trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty had agreed to be a part of the third Hera Pheri film. In fact, Hera Pheri 3 also went on floors as the team reunited to shoot for an extremely funny announcement video", the report further stated.## The makers have decided to consider Rawal's decision as unprofessional and uncalled for, and sent him a legal notice, demanding 25 crore to pay for the losses they have suffered due to his action. Akshay Kumar's 'OMG 3' Is In Early Development

Mumbai, May 20 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's social comedy drama OMG (Oh My God) has established itself as one of India's most successful film franchises. The series has two films so far, which emerged as big hits at the box office while delivering important messages. ## According to the latest report by Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar and director Amit Rai have already started working on OMG 3. It is said that Rai had accompanied Akshay Kumar to Kerala for the last leg of Bhooth Bagla to discuss the third instalment of OMG. ## As per the report, Amit Rai has multiple ideas for the upcoming film, and he discussed all the plot points with Akshay Kumar throughout the stay. "The duo brainstormed on all the ideas and also discussed possible new routes that could be taken in OMG 3. The intent is to continue with the most loved franchise, and take the third part on floors in 2026", says the report.## The makers understand the huge responsibility on their shoulders, hence, they are in no hurry to just rush through the process of OMG 3. They are expected to start working on the script soon, and if all goes well, the film may go on floors by the second half of 2026. ## Meanwhile, Akshay has multiple films lined up for release. He will next be seen in Housefull 5, which is scheduled to hit the big screen on June 5 this year. After this, he has Jolly LLB 3 in September this year, followed by Bhooth Bangla (April 2026) and Welcome 3 (2026). Mumbai, May 18 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has wrapped up shooting for director Priyadarshan's horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Cape of Good Films and Wide Angle Creations. ## Akshay shared a video clip which features him and actress Wamiqa Gabbi while filming for a song and announced the wrap on the film. ## "And that's a wrap on #BhoothBangla! My seventh madcap adventure with the ever-inventive Priyadarshan sir, my second outing with the unstoppable Ektaa Kapoor, and my first but hopefully not the last, magical journey with the ever-surprising Wamiqa. Grateful for the madness, the magic, and the memories", Akshay wrote. ## The film also stars Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Manoj Joshi, Mithila Palkar, and Sharman Joshi, among others, in prominent roles. Mumbai, May 17 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has locked his next film after the recently released Sikandar, which underperformed at the box office. The actor has been in talks with multiple directors, including Kabir Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar, but he has prioritised Apoorva Lakhia's army-based film. ## There have been reports that Salma and Apoorva will team up for the first time for a film about the Galwan Valley clash between India and China. According to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the film is based on the novel India's Most Fearless 3, set against the backdrop of the 2020 Galwan Valley Conflict. ## "Apoorva Lakhia and Salman Khan are all set to start shooting for the film from July 2025. It will be shot in Ladakh and Mumbai, over a period of 70 days. It features Salman Khan as an army officer in a full-fledged film for the first time in his career, and he will be joined by 3 other actors from the younger generation", says that report.## Apart from Lakhiya, Salman Khan is also discussing a film with director Kabir Khan, who previously collaborated with the Sultan star for Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Tubelight (2017). However, despite Salman's willingness, the duo's 4th collaboration won't be Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. ## "Kabir Khan is against sequels, and doesnโ€™t want to touch a classic like Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
