Bangalore, October 10 - The 67th Filmfare Awards for South Indian films was held on October 9 in a star-studded ceremony in Bangalore. The artists from the South Indian film industries were honored for their exceptional work in their respective films.

The awards were declared combined for the films released in 2020 and 2021 because the Awards didn't take in 2021 due to the covid-19 pandemic. Allu Arjun's "Pushpa: The Rise", Suriya's "Soorarai Pottru" and Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer "Ayyappanum Koshiyum" were the big winners and won multiple awards each.
