Confirmed Match Card (August 19, 2023)
We'll hear from FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler)
As revealed during the August 18 edition of AEW Rampage, the AEW World Tag Team Champions, FTR (consisting of Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), are scheduled to make an appearance on the show. This upcoming episode falls just a day after Wheeler's apprehension on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm.
On August 18, Wheeler had a court hearing where his bond was established at $2,500. At present, it's confirmed that FTR will still be taking on the Young Bucks at AEW All In on August 27.
Ricky Starks addresses his comments from last week
AEW also let it be known that Ricky Starks will be speaking about his statements made on the August 12 show, where he revealed obtaining a manager's license. Starks also stated his intent to bring a battle to AEW Collision.
Darby Allin vs. Christian Cage
On the upcoming Fight for the Fallen episode of AEW Collision next week, Darby Allin is set to face off against one of his numerous current rivals, Christian Cage. The two have been exchanging words and actions since Allin secured a shot at the TNT Championship for AEW All Out 2023, where he's scheduled to take on Luchasaurus for the title.
Given that Cage holds the title (albeit not as the actual champion), it paves the way for a match between him and Allin before the PPV. The match emerged after Allin launched an assault on Luchasaurus, driving them away subsequent to the TNT Champion's decisive victory over Brock Anderson. Allin then issued the challenge. As of now, the TNT Title showdown between Allin and Luchasaurus remains the sole bout confirmed for the All Out PPV. However, on the latest Collision episode, Powerhouse Hobbs also hinted at a potential match against Miro.
Willow Nightingale vs. Diamante
On August 19, Willow Nightingale is scheduled for action as she takes on Diamante. In a previous match on August 12, Diamante, alongside Mercedes Martinez, triumphed over Nightingale and Kris Statlander in a tag team encounter. Diamante utilized some underhanded tactics by providing Martinez with additional support during the pinfall, securing their crafty win.
Powerhouse Hobbs in action
Furthermore, ex-TNT Champion Powerhouse Hobbs is set to participate.
We'll hear from Miro
Miro will speak on the show.
