AEW Collision Results, October 28, 2023: Highlights, Commentary, Live Update, Winners

Here is the live coverage for this week's edition of AEW Collision which is set to take place on October 28, 2023, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT.

AEW Collision starts at 8 PM ET. This is 5 PM PT, 1 AM BST, and 8 AM AEST. The show will run for two hours, so it will end at 10 PM ET.



The show will feature an AEW World Championship match pitting MJF against Kenny Omega. Additionally, Hikaru Shida will be defending her AEW Women's Championship against Abadon in a Fright Night Fight. Jay White is scheduled to face AR Fox in a singles match, and the House of Black, consisting of Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews, will also be featured in action.

Singles Match: Jay White w/Bullet Club Gold vs AR Fox



The bell rings and the match kicks off...They lock up in the corner, with White eventually applying a side headlock for a takedown. Fox counters with chops, but White gains the upper hand. Fox retaliates with a cutter and a shooting star press from the apron.

White reverses Fox's attack, suplexes him into the turnbuckle, and they exchange chops. Fox fights back, hitting a 450 splash and a Spanish fly for a near fall. He finishes with two half-and-half suplexes and the Blade Runner for the win.

WINNER: Jay White



The Boys (Brandon and Brent) w/Dalton Castle vs The Already In The Ring Gunns (Austin and Colton Gunn)

The match begins with Brent facing off against Austin, but the Gunns quickly execute their finishing move, the "3:10 to Yuma," on Brandon to secure the pinfall victory.

WINNER: The Gunns

Fright Night Fight: AEW Women's World Champion Hikaru Shida vs Abadon

They start with a Greco-Roman knuckle lock, but Abadon tries to bite. Shida gets a side headlock and follows with a shoulder tackle. Abadon responds with a head scissor takedown. They exchange playful weapon shots, and Shida delivers ten blows in the corner.

Shida tosses Abadon to the floor, and when they fight outside, Abadon surprises Shida by emerging from under the ring. Shida hits a high knee strike upon returning to the ring.

Abadon rolls out and reappears with a bat. Shida chokes her with it, but Abadon no-sells it. Abadon clotheslines Shida for a two-count. Shida fights back, using a Kendo stick and a running knee. She places a pumpkin on Abadon's head and finishes with the Katana for the win.

WINNER: Hikaru Shida

Samoa Joe (Ring of Honor TV Champion) vs The Already In The Ring Rhett Titus

Titus starts with an arm bar and a punch, but Joe counters with a back elbow. Joe follows with jabs in the corner and a Pele kick. Despite Titus being tough, Joe dodges a cross body attempt. Titus hits a big boot but falls victim to an ura nagi. Joe seals the deal with the Coquina Clutch for the win.

WINNER: Samoa Joe

Ricky Starks w/Big Bill vs Dax Harwood w/Cash Wheeler

Starks and Dax grapple, with Starks initially taking control in the corner. They trade moves, including a suplex and leg drop. Starks tries a top-rope move but misses. They exchange blows, and Dax sends Starks to the floor with a baseball slide. Starks traps Dax and delivers blows, eventually suplexing him on the ramp.

Returning from a break, Dax executes an avalanche suplex. Starks lands a clothesline and attempts the "Rochambeau." Dax counters and nearly wins with a brainbuster. Starks eventually secures the win with a piledriver after some interference.

WINNER: Ricky Starks

Claudio Castagnoli vs Tracy Williams

Claudio pummels Trace, landing a pair of short-arm clotheslines. He finishes the match with a pinfall for the win.

WINNER: Claudio Castagnoli

AEW World Championship Match: MJF vs Kenny Omega

In a wrestling match between MJF and Omega, they engaged in a series of moves and counters, with MJF resorting to eye-poking and Omega executing high-impact moves.

They both endured a grueling battle, with Omega almost securing a win but was ultimately defeated by MJF after some interference, including a Panama Sunrise and heat seeker for the victory.

WINNER: MJF
