Aamir Khan Reveals His Mother's Reaction On To His Upcoming 'Laal Singh Chaddha'

Mumbai, April 29 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan released the first song 'Kahani' from his upcoming social comedy-drama film "Laal Singh Chaddha". The superstar kept the audience guessing about Kahani before he finally unveiled the song on Thursday (April 28).

"Laal Singh Chaddha" is an Indian adaptation of Tom Hanks-fronted "Forrest Gump". Directed by Advait Chandan, the movie also stars Kareena Kapoor and Naga Chaitanya in key roles. Aamir took to a unique way to unveil the song 'Kahani' as he reached RedFM studio on Thursday to talk about the song along with his daughter Ira Khan.



During the conversation with RedFM, Aamir was asked whose opinion matters the most to him when it comes to his work, Aamir said his mother's. He said, "My mother gives well-thought-out responses. When she doesn't like something, she says, 'Get it away from me, what have you made'. She's very cute in the way she says it".

The "Dangal" star further revealed the precious reaction of his mother to "Laal Singh Chaddha" and said that she loved the movie and asked not to change anything. "My mother really liked the film. She said, 'Don't listen to anybody else, you've made a very good film. Don't cut anything, release it as it is. My mother's opinion of my work is very important to me", he added.

Produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios, "Laal Singh Chaddha" is scheduled to release on August 11, 2022. It will face Akshay Kumar's "Raksha Bandhan" at the box office.
