Aamir Khan To Play A Cameo In Rajinikanth's 'Coolie': Report

Chennai, August 27 - Recently, it was reported that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan would be teaming up with Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj after the filmmaker's Coolie with superstar Rajinikanth. Now, a new buzz has surfaced regarding the duo's collaboration.

According to the latest Tamil media reports, Aamir Khan would be playing a cameo role in Coolie which is currently in production. While the official confirmation is yet to be made, it is said that the actor will have a crucial role in the context of the film.



It is to be noted that Lokesh Kanagaraj had offered the same role to superstar Shah Rukh Khan but later declined the role as SRK doesn't want to feature in an extended role though he has huge respect for legendary Rajinikanth.

If all goes well, Coolie will mark Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan's reunion after the 1995 Bollywood film Aatank Hi Aatank. Noteably, it will be the first time when Aamir Khan will work with Lokesh Kanagaraj before the director makes his Bollywood debut with the Dangal star, as reported.

Coolie is produced by Sun Pictures, and it also stars Upendra, Sathyaraj, and Shruti Haasan in prominent roles. The movie will be released in 2025 in multiple languages.
