Abhishek Bachchan Confirmed Onboard Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh's 'Housefull 5'

Mumbai, May 6 - Actor Abhishek Bachchan has been confirmed on board Housefull 5, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh in the leading roles. The film marks the reunion of the trio after Housefull 3 (2016), directed by Sajid-Farhad.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the fifth instalment of the blockbuster comedy franchise from producer Sajid Nadiadwala is one of the most anticipated films in the making. The film will be made on a budget of over 300 crores and the shoot for the same will kick-start in the UK in August 2024.



It is said that a major part of the film will be shot inside a lavish cruise over a 45-day first schedule. Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan will be joined by a big ensemble and the casting is currently underway.

Housefull 5 is scheduled to be released on June 6, 2025.
