Adipurush Trailer Becomes The Most Viewed Hindi Trailer of All-Time In First 24-Hours

Mumbai, May 10 - Superstar Prabhas-fronted magnum opus Adipurush is getting ready to storm the big screen on June 16, and ahead of the big day, the makers launched the much-awaited trailer of the movie yesterday.

There were huge expectations from the Adipurush trailer after the not-so-well-received teaser last year, and as expected, it didn't disappoint at all. The trailer is getting blockbuster responses all-over and has turned the tide in favor of the film.



Thanks to the huge response, the 3 minutes 19-second-long promo has become the most-viewed trailer on YouTube in the Hindi language in the first 24 hours. At the time of writing this piece, the "Adipurush" trailer reached 52 million views in Hindi with 1 hour still left.

Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor-fronted "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar" was previously the most viewed Hindi trailer in 24 hours with 50.96 million views. Yash-fronted "KGF: Chapter 2" scored 49.02 million views in Hindi in the same time period and is the 3rd in the list.

Directed by Om Raut, "Adipurush" is the cinematic adaptation of the epic Ramayana in which Prabhas plays the role of Lord Rama while Kriti Sanon features as Sita, Saif Ali Khan as Raavan, Sunny Singh as Laxman, and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman. It is produced by T-Series, Retrophiles, and UV Creations and is scheduled to release on June 16 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
