Ajay Devgn's 'Raid 2' Release Date To Be Changed

Mumbai, May 11 - A sequel to Ajay Devgn-fronted crime drama film Raid is in development with the actor returning to reprise his role as IRS officer Amay Patnaik. The movie is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and produced by Panorama Studios and T-Series.

The shoot of Raid 2 is nearing completion are gearing up to release the movie in the second half of 2024. However, there might be a change in the release date which is due on November 15, 2024. It is said that the movie will either be postponed or preponed due to Singham 3.



Rohit Shetty's Singham 3, starring Ajay Devgn in the title role, was gearing up to release on August 15 but the latest reports suggest that it will now be released on Diwali 2024. Once Rohit Shetty and Jio Studios lock Diwali 2024 for the arrival of Singham Again, the makers will announce a new date for Raid 2, according to Pinkvilla.

It is said that Rajkumar Gupta is presently editing and getting the final print of Raid 2 ready by the end of July, so there is a possibility that it might be released before Singham Again. All the confusion will be cleared once the official announcement is made.
