Ajay Devgn's 'Shaitaan' Tops IMDb's Most Anticipated Indian Movies List

Mumbai, February 28 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn's horror thriller Shaitaan is turning the heat as the release date is getting nearer. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also stars Jyothika, R Madhavan, and Janki Bodiwala in key roles.

Shaitaan, with 10 days left for the release, is the most anticipated Indian film by a long margin. Based on real-time popularity on IMDb, the film is over 60% in the most anticipation parameter, a huge gap between the second-ranked Crew at 14% currently. The list is based on the number of page views on IMDb.



Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, scheduled to be released on Eid 2024, is currently the third most anticipated Indian film with over 6%, followed by Laapataa Ladies, and Yodha at number 4 and 5 with 5% and 3%, respectively. Top 10 Most Anticipated Movies.

Produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak under the banners of Devgn Films, Jio Studios, and Panorama Studios, Shaitaan revolves around a happy family, who go on a vacation to a secluded village, where they encounter a mysterious man, who claims to be their well-wisher.

However, he has a sinister motive and uses black magic to manipulate and torment them. The family soon realizes that they are in grave danger, and must fight for their survival against the evil forces. The film is scheduled to release on March 8.
