Akhanda 2: Blockbuster 'Akhanda' Sequel Officially Announced

Hyderabad, October 16 - After the hat-trick of successes, Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu reunite for the fourth time for the sequel to the blockbuster Akhanda. The movie will be produced by 14 Reels Plus studio.

The movie, titled Akhanda 2 - Thaandavam, was officially announced on Wednesday (October 16) with the teaser poster, giving the divine impression. The music for the movie will be composed by Thaman S who got high praise for his BGM in Akhanda.



The shoot of Akhanda 2 will commence soon and will have a Pan India release in multiple languages, including Hindi. As said, this marks NBK and Boyapati's 4th movie together after Simha, Legend and Akhanda which were big box office hits.

Akhanda was released in December 2021 and emerged NBK's first 100 crores grosser at the worldwide box office, scoring 117 crores gross collection. Meanwhile, the veteran Telugu actor will next be seen in NBK109 which is scheduled to hit the big screens on Sankranthi 2025.
