Akshay Kumar-Fronted C. Sankaran Nair's Biopic Gets A Release Date

Mumbai, October 18 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's yet-untitled biographical drama film about lawyer C. Sankaran Nair is set to release on Holi 2025. The movie also stars R Madhavan and Ananya Panday in prominent roles.

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the movie will be released on March 14, 2025. It is produced by Dharma Productions in association with Cape of Good Films and Leo Media Company. The movie is inspired by real-life events and adapted from the book "The Case That Shook The Empire" written by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat.



C. Sankaran Nair was an Indian lawyer and statesman who served as the Advocate-General of Madras from 1906 to 1908, on the High Court of Madras as a puisne justice from 1908 to 1915, and as India-wide Education minister as a member of the Viceroy's Executive Council from 1915 until 1919.
