Akshay Kumar Speaks Highly About 'Hari Har' Song From 'Prithviraj' Movie

Mumbai, May 12 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's "Prithviraj" is easily the most-awaited movie of Summer 2022, and the first song "Hari Har" has raised the anticipation furthermore. Apart from the patriotic theme and brilliantly penned lyrics, the scale of the video song is amazing with top-notch cinematography.

Akshay Kumar, not so surprisingly, has spoken highly about the song and claims it to be one of the most patriotic songs that he has heard in his entire acting career. He called the song soul of the movie and "salutes the daredevil spirit of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan who sacrificed everything to protect his motherland from the merciless invader, Mohammad of Ghor".



Directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the movie is based on the life of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. The "Heri Har" song showcases his "resolve to protect India". Akshay said that this is the reason he connects to the song deeply.

He added that it captures the essence of Samrat Prithviraj's life and represents the strong value system that made him the fearless king that he became. "'Hari Har' is a song that I fell in love with right from the first music listening exercise. Even today, I listen to it very frequently because it is one of the most patriotic songs that I have heard in my entire acting career", he added.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, "Prithviraj" film marks the debut of former Miss World Manushi Chhillar who plays the role of Prithviraj's beloved Sanyogita. Manushi's launch is definitely one of the most awaited debuts of 2022. It also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, and Manav Vij, among others in prominent roles.



"Prithviraj" will be released on June 3rd in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
