Akshay Kumar Unveils New Posters And Release Date Of 'Bachchan Pandey'

Mumbai, January 18 - Akshay Kumar-fronted next big ticket film "Bachchan Pandey" has been pushed back two weeks and will now release on the occasion of Holi on March 18, 2022, in theaters worldwide.

The action-comedy film, directed by Farhad Samji, is one of the most anticipated and important films of 2022 as far as theatrical business is concerned. It will also be one of the first Bollywood films to release theatrically after the covid-19 3rd wave.



Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and shared two new posters along with the release date. One of the posters features Akshay in his gangster look while the other poster features his gang along with him.

"Bachchan Pandey" will be Akshay's first release of 2022. It also stars Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez as the female leads alongside Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhimanyu Singh, Prateik Babbar, among others in key roles.

The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment in association with Zee Studios. AA Films is the distribution partner of the film. Amazon Prime Video has the post-theatrical streaming rights.
