Akshay Kumar's 'Awara Paagal Deewana 2' Gets New Additions To Cast

Mumbai, April 25 - The sequels to Hera Pheri, Welcome, and Awara Paagal Deewana have been the talk of the talk ever since the news about their development was revealed. Superstar Akshay Kumar has been confirmed to headline this comic capers, and now, one of the most anticipated films of them, Awara Paagal Deewana 2 is in the news for its casting.

Recently, it was revealed that Akshay Kumar along with Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, and Johnny Lever would be returning as Guru Gulab Khatri, Yeda Anna, Manilal Patel, and Chhota Chhatri, respectively in the sequel, and now, according to Pinkvilla, Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi have been roped in for key roles.



"The idea is to make a proper multi-starrer action comedy. Awara Pagal Deewana 2 will be the biggest film of the lot in terms of scale and budget with a big star cast. The actors for Awara Pagal Deewana 2 include Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Dutt, and Arshad Warsi among others. A couple of more names will come on board in the next 2 months", a source revealed to Pinkvilla.

Awara Pagal Deewana 2 is currently in the pre-production work under director Ahmed Khan. The makers are also in the process of locking the script and once all things are finalized, the shoot will start after that, possibly by early next year.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt will also be a part of "Hera Pheri 3" which begins shooting later this year. He will join the returning trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty along with the other actors. The movie was supposed to be directed by Farhad Samji who might get replaced with another director due to the backlash he is facing for his recent films.
