Akshay Kumar's 'Prithviraj' Trailer To Release On May 9

Mumbai, May 5 - The hugely-awaited historical action drama film, "Prithviraj" starring superstar Akshay Kumar in the title role, is releasing worldwide on June 3rd. The anticipation for the movie is building up nicely as the release is getting nearer.

According to reports, the trailer of "Prithviraj" will be released on May 9 and it will be attached to the prints of Ranveer Singh's "Jayeshbhai Jordaar" in theaters from May 13th. The trailer will be launched in presence of the media at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai, followed by a digital launch.



The trailer launch event of "Prithviraj" will reportedly be attended by the lead pair, Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar, along with director Chandraprakash Dwivedi. It trailer will also kick-start the promotion of the movie with the music launch, city tours, and interviews to follow up.

Produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films, "Prithviraj" is written and directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi who put years into the research to pen the script. It is based on Prithviraj Raso, a Braj Bhasha epic poem about the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, a king from the Chahamana dynasty.

The movie marks former Miss World, Manushi Chhillar's debut movie, and her launch is one of the most-anticipated to watch out for. It also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij, and Lalit Tiwari in other important roles.

"Prithviraj" will release on June 3rd in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
