Akshay Kumar's 'Sarfira' Gets New Poster; Trailer Drops Today

Mumbai, June 18 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar teamed up with Tamil director Sudha Kongara for the drama film Sarfira, which is the remake of Kongara's Soorarai Pottru starring Suriya who plays a cameo in the remake.

Produced by Aruna Bhatia of Cape of Good Films, Suriya and Jyotika’s 2D Entertainment, and Vikram Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment, Sarfira is scheduled to release on July 12 and the makers are set to launch the much-awaited trailer today (June 18). The trailer was censored on June 17 with a 'U' certificate and the approved runtime of 2 minutes and 34 seconds.



On Tuesday (June 18), Akshay Kumar took to social media to announce the trailer date with a new poster which features him, riding a bike with an aeroplane taking off in the background. The movie also stars Radhika Madan, Paresh Rawal, and Seema Biswas in pivotal roles.
