Allu Arjun Rejects Aditya Dhar's Ambitious 'The Immortal Ashwatthama'
Mumbai, August 7 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun has reportedly rejected director Aditya Dhar's ambitious project "The Immortal Ashwatthama". The film was first announced with Vicky Kaushal who later rejected stating date issues.
Earlier this year, it was revealed Aditya Dhar approached Allu Arjun to headline this mega project. The actor gave it a thought and took his time to decide on it. "The Immortal Ashwatthama" is heavy on VFX film, and now, according to the latest reports, AA doesn't want to take a risk with this and has decided to let it go.
It is said that Allu Arjun has become very cautious about picking his upcoming films after the Pan India success of "Pushpa". The second part of Pushap is currently in production for a 2024 release. He is also exploring other projects in Bollywood and the actor already has confirmed one with producer Bhushan Kumar and it will be directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun will next be reuniting with director Trivikram Srinivas immediately after "Pushpa - The Rule". The shoot for the same will commence in mid-2024. Reddy Vanga's movie will start after he finishes with Prabhas-fronted "Spirit" which will go on floors next year.
