Allu Arjun's Daughter, Arha To Make Her Debut With Samantha Akkineni Fronted Shakuntalam Movie

Hyderabad, July 15, 2021: Telugu superstar Allu Arjun announced that her daughter, Allu Arha, will be making her acting debut as a child artist with Samantha Akkineni starrer, Shakuntalam movie. Directed by Gunasekhar, Shaakuntalam is a mythological drama film set in the Himalayas. It is based on Kalidasa's epic Sanskrit play Abhijnana Shakuntalam.





Allu Arjun took to social media and wrote, "A proud moment for the Allu family to announce that the fourth generation, #AlluArha will be making her debut with #Shakuntalam movie. I want to thank @Gunasekhar1 garu & @neelima_guna garu for giving my daughter this beautiful movie as her debut".





"I had an altogether different journey with @Samanthaprabhu2 and am happy to watch Arha debut with her movie. My best wishes to the entire Cast & Crew of #Shakuntalam", he added. Allu Arha has been cast to play Prince Bharata.





4-year old, Allu Arha is the fourth generation of the Allu family. She is the great-granddaughter of Padmasri Allu Ramalingaiah and the granddaughter of Allu Arvind and a proud daughter of Allu Arjun and Sneha.





Produced by Neelima Guna of Gunaa Teamworks and Dil Raju of Dil Raju Productions, Shaakuntalam tells the love story of king Dushyantha and Shakuntala, daughter of sage Vishwamitra and apsara Menaka. The plot is reportedly based upon a love affair, a secret marriage, separation of imprecation, and the reunion of the immortal love of Dushyanta and Shakuntala.





The shooting of Shaakuntalam is progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad. The technical crew of the film includes composer Mani Sharma, cinematographer Sekhar V Joseph, and editor Prawin Pudi. The movie is a Pan India flick and will release in multiple languages.
